Mini pets GBA

A virtual pet game for the GBA featuring 290 wacky animals across 40 families, with variants to keep things interesting. There are more combinations than you can count, plus 8 minigames to bring your pet to the playfield.

There’s no real goal: just play with your pet, feed them, and keep them happy...or they DIE.

Try to get the coolest variant of your favorite pet and max out their happiness!

Some graphics are still WIP. 16×16 sprites probably weren’t the best idea with my pixel art “skills,” but all the game systems are fully implemented.

If anyone wants to submit 16×16 sprites for their favorite animal to be implemented, feel free to ask! Same goes for toys, i didn’t have many ideas beside the trampoline and the ball.

Performance should be fine even with a lot of action on screen. Having 10 moving animals per parcel was kind of finnicky to implement.

Saving is fully implemented with 3 save slots.

It SHOULD work on real hardware, but I can’t test it myself since I don’t actually have my GBA with me right now. Also could not ensure save comp between releases.
